External Factor Evaluation Matrix

This Matrix allows strategist to summarize and evaluate the most important external forces that affect the organization.

 

Weight determins the importance of the factor:

0,0= Not important.

1= Very important.

 

Rating indicates how effectively the firm's current strategies respond to each factor:

4= The response is superior.

3= The response above average.

2= The response is average.

1= The response is poor.
